Welcome November and welcome #sagittarius season!
Sagittarius is the last Fire sign of the zodiac. If Aries is the sparkle or life, Leo the steady fire of creation, Sagittarius is a wildfire – the eternal flame of knowledge and wisdom.
In its quest to find the eternal truth, Sagittarius goes above and beyond. Sagittarius’s sparkles go high in the sky and mingle with the stars.
November and the Sagittarius season makes me think of our ancestors camping around the fire, telling stories, and passing wisdom to the younger generations. They would share lessons learned and hope for an easy winter and better fortune next year.
Hope and faith are indeed central themes in the Sagittarius season. Without hope, without faith, without a vision for the future, we would all wither.
This month you can already start concocting a new vision for the next year. You don’t have to know the “how” yet. Capricorn will teach you that.
Don’t rush in. Sagittarius season is when you seed hope. When you get your vision straight. When you get crystal clear about what you want to achieve. Details, later.
Most people jump straight into action mode, without spending enough time on understanding the big picture and creating a clear vision. Don’t do that. This month do what the Sagittarius people do. Dream big, and get crystal clear about what you want.
After a tense October, November is a happier and more relaxed month, although the Saturn-Pluto conjunction is slowly (but surely) forming. (but more about Saturn conjunct Pluto in the December forecast.)
In November, let’s enjoy the Venus-Jupiter conjunction and other fabulous transits that you will soon learn about.
Let’s have a look at the most important transits of the month:
November 1st, 2019 – Venus Enters Sagittarius
On November 1st, 2019, Venus enters Sagittarius. After a heavy and serious Venus in Scorpio, Venus in Sagittarius is the light at the end of the tunnel. If your heart has been on ‘hibernate mode’, now it’s time to get out into the world again. Once you choose hope over fear, anything is possible.
November 5th, 2019 – Mars Square Pluto
On November 5th, 2019 we have one of the few tense transits of the month: Mars (at 20° Libra) squares Pluto (at 20° Capricorn).
Tense Mars-Pluto aspects always come with power struggles and with a strong desire to win over someone – or something.
You want to assert yourself, you want to get what you want (Mars). But no matter how much you want something, there will always be circumstances, people, or forces of nature (Pluto) that will make your quest impossible.
Mars square Pluto is a good time to test your limits, to see what you’re capable of, and why not, to learn how to lose with grace.
If you’re too afraid to lose, you will never step outside your comfort zone, and reach your true potential. If you never lose, you’ll never win.
November 11th, 2019 – Mercury Conjunct Sun
On November 11th, 2019, Mercury retrograde is conjunct the Sun, marking the beginning of a new Mercury cycle, the last one this year.
This is a great time to incubate one of your “Mercury” projects. Do you have a book inside you? Do you want to learn a new skill? Do you have something to sell on Etsy? Mercury will shake hands with the Sun (your Spirit) who will whisper what your next best move should be.
November 12th, 2019 – Full Moon In Taurus
On November 12th, 2019 we have a Full Moon at 19° Taurus. Full Moons in Taurus are by definition some of the best Full Moons of the year because the Moon is in exaltation in Taurus.
This particular Full Moon in Taurus is sextile Neptune in Pisces, trine Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and opposite Mercury in Scorpio.
Because we have a lot of Earth energy, the Full Moon in Taurus will reveal the elephant in the room. What’s common sense is oftentimes overlooked. Not right now. With the Full Moon in Taurus, you see what you get, and you get what you see.
November 14th, 2019 – Venus Square Neptune
On November 14th, 2019 Venus (at 15° Sagittarius) is square Neptune (at 15° Pisces).
Venus square Neptune is a romantic, high-hopes aspect. Because the square is in the most hopeful signs of the zodiac (Sagittarius and Pisces) you want to be careful for hope not to turn into wishful thinking.
This is a waning square, coming with an opportunity to reassess your hopes and dreams.
It’s important to set the bar high, but it’s also important to understand what’s – realistically – possible. Yes, you deserve so much more, but sometimes it takes a bit longer to get there. Don’t get discouraged.
November 19th, 2019 – Mars Enters Scorpio
If lately you’ve found it difficult to assert yourself, take action and get things done, Mars in Scorpio will change that. Mars in Scorpio is the most resilient, strong-willed and passionate Mars placement.
Nothing will stop Mars in Scorpio from getting what he wants. Nothing. And no one.
November 20th, 2019 – Mercury Goes Direct
YES! On November 20th, 2019, Mercury stations direct at 11° Scorpio. Mercury has spent an unusually long time in Scorpio… and is here to stay for a few more weeks.
If you’ve been feeling like Sherlock Holmes lately it’s because of Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. Mercury in Scorpio is anyway super investigative, and even more so when retrograde.
Now that Mercury is direct, some of the things you’ve been investigating, researching, or obsessing over will finally come together. Everything will start to make sense again. Expect big “a-ha” moments.
November 22, 2019 – Sun Enters Sagittarius
Happy birthday to all Sagittarius people out there! Thanks to the #sagittarius season, we all become a bit wiser, hopeful and adventurous this time of the year.
This is your time to dream big. Don’t worry about the “how”. Just make sure your goal is big enough and motivating enough. Right now, you want to find your true meaning and purpose.
November 24th, 2019 – Venus Conjunct Jupiter
On November 24th, 2019, Venus is conjunct Jupiter at 28° Sagittarius. This is the 5-star transit that electional astrologers and astrology enthusiasts around the world have been waiting for, for the whole year.
On the same day though, Mars in Scorpio is opposite Uranus in Taurus AND the Moon will also briefly join Mars in the middle of the battlefield. There is a lot of intensity and desire for change.
You will not want change because you want to move away from something, or because your current situation is unbearable, but rather because you are excited about a new opportunity.
November 24 will be a day to remember and will be so for various reasons. If you have planets or angles around 28° Sagittarius, you will experience the expansive, uplifting, and happy-go-lucky energy of this transit. If you have planets around 3° in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius), then the day will be pretty much a rollercoaster.
November 26th, 2019 – New Moon In Sagittarius
On November 26th, 2019 we have a New Moon at 3° Sagittarius. The only aspect the New Moon makes is a quincunx to Uranus, but the other aspects today are fabulous.
The Venus-Jupiter conjunction is still active (and it can, in fact, get ‘activated’ by the New Moon), plus we have a sweet Mercury-Neptune trine in water sings.
This is one of the good New Moons of the year, and a great time for visualizations and vision boarding.
Really a nice read. Thank you! ❤️
I’m a little confused. Shouldn’t it be Scorpio season? Otherwise, a great read. Thank you.
The Scorpio season started October 23rd, the Sagittarius season starts November 22nd. Since we have Jupiter and Venus in Sag I decided to highlight the Sag energy in this forecast
Totally missed the MAJOR celestial event of the DECADE… Jupiter aligning with the GC on 11-19-19. It’s a BFD. It’s our next generation’s collective gamma wave programming which will affect absolutely everyone and every planet
Right, even more interesting since the Venus Jupiter conjunction is closer by
I was hoping to read something about the Saturn sextile Neptune transit taking place on November 8 … any ideas?
My MC is on 29 degrees of Sagittarius and I have Uranus on 3 degrees of Leo. So November 24th will be a day to remember? I don’t expect anything.
