Full Moon In Taurus – Undeniable Truths

On November 12th, 2019 we have a Full Moon in Taurus. Full Moons in Taurus are by definition some of the best Full Moons of the year because the Moon is exalted in Taurus.

I know I have an astro bias, but I absolutely love my Moon in Taurus.

The Moon in Taurus has the magic ability to help you connect with your body. It helps me to detect if the eggs are not fresh. Or if the food in the restaurant has been frozen or reheated. Ok, this may not be the most important survival skill in a world with ISO standards, but you get the idea.

Moon In Taurus – “I Feel It In My Gut”

And this can be an extremely helpful skill, in so many ways. It can help you tell, for example, if an environment is not good for you.

Call the Moon in Taurus superficial, but if you move to a new place and you ignore the lack of ventilation and sunlight, these will hurt you in the long run, should you get sick and depressed with no idea why.

If someone is not good for you (and if you don’t have a kind Moon in Taurus friend to tell you that) you may end up sharing your life with an energy vampire.

The Moon in Taurus will tell you what’s good for you; what makes sense. The expression “I feel it in my gut” must have come from someone with the Moon in Taurus.

So a Moon in Taurus is a reason for celebration no matter what. But when the Moon is in Taurus AND it is full, we have a double reason to celebrate.

When the Moon is full, it is super powerful. In fact, it’s only on the day the Moon is full, that the Moon doesn’t share the sky with the Sun. The Full Moon rises exactly when the Sun sets, and sets exactly when the Sun rises.

That’s not the case when the Moon is waxing (increasing in size) and rises before the Sun, but also sets before the sunset. Or when the Moon is waning (decreasing in size) and rises after the Sun, sharing the sky with the Sun at least for some time.

When full, the Moon is the queen of the sky, and she doesn’t share her throne with anyone.

This means that when the Moon is full, you can fully tap into your Moon and your feminine power. You can make decisions from a more practical, grounded place and act with common sense.

This particular Full Moon in Taurus is at 19° Taurus, and features the following aspects:

  • sextile Neptune in Pisces
  • trine Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn
  • opposite Mercury retrograde in Scorpio

Because we have a lot of Earth energy, the Full Moon in Taurus will be even more like a Full Moon in Taurus. It will be even more grounded, practical and have even more common sense.

And because it makes a direct contact with Mercury retrograde (which also happens to be in the heart of the Sun, and has just started a new cycle), it will reveal something that will surprise you.

Moon In Taurus – A Surprising, Yet Undeniable Truth

It is not the fact revealed that is intrinsically surprising (the Moon is far away from Uranus, even if the two share the sign – so it will spare you of true surprises) but it will be surprising in a way that you will not believe how you could not see it before.

Sun and Mercury retrograde from the deep Scorpio waters may try to say “It’s much more complicated…”. But the Full Moon in Taurus will answer “really?”.

The metaphor “the elephant in the room” has never been more appropriate. Sometimes the biggest truths are the most simple truths – inescapable, undeniable, pure

You may realize you don’t love your job. And you may be shocked about why you haven’t seen this, all these years. Or you may realize that you love your job, and all the struggles and arguments are in fact, proof that you’re really invested in what you’re doing.

The magic of having a big “aha” moment is that once you know where you’re at, you can make a decision. To do or not to do. To stay or to go. When you make up your mind, you can truly commit. And it’s only when you truly commit, that you can move forward with your life.

The Full Moon in Taurus will influence a particular area of your life – that is, the house where you have Taurus in your natal chart. This is where you will gain new clarity about where you’re at. This is where you’ll find an undeniable truth.
