November 2021 features an electrically charged New Moon in Scorpio, the first Eclipse of the season and the shift from relationship-obsessed Libra-Scorpio energy to the outcome-obsessed Sagittarius-Capricorn energy.

Ready or not – November 2021 may be the month when you will be swept off your feet.  

Let’s take a look at the most important astrological events of the month: 

November 4th, 2021 – New Moon In Scorpio  

On November 4th, 2021 we have a New Moon at 12° Scorpio.

The New Moon has a strong Scorpio energy not only because we have the Sun and Moon in the sign of Scorpio, but because the New Moon ruler Mars, is ALSO in Scorpio – very powerful in the sign of its domicile. This is an extremely driven New Moon that won’t take no for an answer.

However, the New Moon in Scorpio is opposite Uranus, the planet of ‘expect the unexpected’ – so even the most minutious, well concocted Scorpio plans can be unraveled. But as always, outer planets know best, so what may feel like an unwelcome change of plans can be your best solution yet.  

November 5th, 2021 – Mercury Enters Scorpio

On November 5th, 2021 Mercury leaves Libra and moves into Scorpio.

Mercury has been in Libra since August 30th; we’ve gotten so used to Libra’s diplomatic ways that Mercury’s ingress into the intense sign of Scorpio can feel like quite a challenge at first.

Unlike Mercury in Libra, Mercury in Scorpio is not interested in being nice, or in reaching consensus – Mercury in Scorpio wants to get to the bottom of things, Mercury in Scorpio wants meaningful discussions and meaningful connections.

This 3-week transit invites all of us to speak our truth, say what we mean, and mean what we say. 

November 5th, 2021 – Venus Enters Capricorn

On November 5th, 2021 Venus leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn. Believe it or not, Venus will stay in Capricorn until March 6th, 2022!

That’s 4 months of Venus in Capricorn – Venus usually spends only one month in a single sign – and the reason Venus spends 4 months in Capricorn is of course, her upcoming retrogradation.

This is going to be an extremely intense Venus retrograde,  no exaggeration! In the coming months, Venus, Mars and Pluto will line up for a fatal love affair that will force us to get real about what we truly want.

I will prepare an extensive report on Venus retrograde, but until then, make a mental note, see what happens around the time of the ingress, because these themes will be central in your life for months and perhaps years to come. 

November 10th, 2021 – Mercury Conjunct Mars

On November 10th, 2021 Mercury is conjunct Mars at 7° Scorpio. This is the second time Mercury and Mars meet in their current synodic cycle. Mercury and Mars had their first rendez-vous in Libra on October 9th, when Mercury was retrograde.

Back then, Mars ignited something inside of us – a new idea, a new ideal, and left it to Mercury to explore and figure out. A Mercury-Pluto square later, Mercury has pretty much figured out the “why” and now he’s at the “how do I make it happen” stage.

More insights will come towards the end of the month, when Mercury also meets with the Sun. 

November 19th, 2021 – Full Moon And Lunar Eclipse In Taurus

On November 19th, 2021 we have a Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse at 27° Taurus. This is the first eclipse on the Taurus-Scorpio axis – a very important eclipse, since it will set the tone for the following 2-year eclipse season.

The lunar eclipse is square Jupiter, asking us to set our priorities right, and it is trine Pluto, giving us that inner drive and determination to figure out what to do next.  

November 21st, 2021 – Sun Enters Sagittarius

On November 21st, 2021, Sun enters Sagittarius. Happy birthday to all Sagittarius people out there!

Sagittarius season is probably the most anticipated/sought-after astrological season out there. This is when the US celebrates Thanksgiving, the holidays are near and we are filled up with anticipation and hope for the future. 

November 24th, 2021 – Mercury Enters Sagittarius

On November 24th, 2021 Mercury enters Sagittarius and the mood becomes even more optimistic.

Mercury is in fact in detriment in Sagittarius, although you wouldn’t believe it when you look at your gregarious and optimistic Mercury in Sagittarius friends.

The reason Mercury is in detriment in Sagittarius is that Mercury is the planet of unfiltered perception, of zero-bias, and let’s just say that Sagittarius is not the most unbiased sign of the zodiac… the good thing is that Sagittarius is biased towards optimism and we all need to take note of the full side of the glass from time to time, right? 

November 23rd-25th, 2021 – Sun And Mercury Conjunct South Node

Between November 23rd and November 25th, the Sun, and then Mercury line up with the South Node of the Moon.

When our Ego (Sun) and our Mind (Mercury) meet the karmic point of least resistance (South Node) in the sign of wisdom (Sagittarius) I can almost hear Paul McCartney singing “When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be”.

After one month of Scorpionic turmoil, it’s time to relax and let it be. “Let it be” – not to be confused with “let it go” which means to acknowledge what is otherwise an unquestionable truth – what is meant to be, will be, what is meant to unfold will unfold.  

November 28th, 2021 – Mercury Conjunct Sun

On November 28th, 2021 Mercury is conjunct the Sun at 6° Sagittarius.

We are already in the middle of the Sun-Mercury cycle that started on October 9th, 2021. This is the Full Moon phase of the Mercury cycle, this is when we reap what we have sown.

The good news is that the conjunction is beautifully supported by Saturn. Our hard work will eventually pay off. Good things do come to those who wait.
