Full Moon In Libra – Love And Projection

On March 21st, 2019, immediately after the Northern Equinox, we have a powerful Full Moon in Libra.

You may know by now that a Full Moon alone is powerful enough – it basically represents the energetic peak of the month.

Full-moon-libra

Full Moon In Libra – It’s Action Time

But this Full Moon is at 0° Libra, one of the 4 cardinal degrees, which are the most potent degrees of the zodiac.

Cardinal signs = action. 0° of cardinal signs is where the action starts. 0° is the degree of all possibilities. Anything is possible when we have such a powerful alignment at 0° in cardinal signs.

The Sun is at 0° Aries and is conjunct Chiron, at 1° Aries. The Full Moon is opposite Chiron. This means that the Full Moon in Libra has a strong ‘Chiron’ flavor.

Libra is the sign of relationships and partnerships of any kind. Libra is the sign of the ‘Other’.

Libra – The Set Of The Ego

Sun in Aries, on the other side, is all about the Self. The Sun is exalted in Aries, Aries is where the Sun rises. The Sun is in fall in Libra, Libra is where the Sun sets. Libra is the Sun-set, is the set of the Self, the set of the Ego.

The Aries-Libra axis is about balancing your needs with those of others.

Chiron is the Wounded Healer, but also the Shaman who can bring holistic healing and turn the initial wound into a gift.

If you want healthy relationships (Libra), you need to heal yourself first (Sun conjunct Chiron). Instead of trying to find the right partner, instead of waiting for the ‘perfect’ relationship, work on becoming the right person. Find out who you really are and heal your sense of identity.

Healing your Identity (Sun conjunct Chiron in Aries) means bringing together all the broken pieces of the Self into a Whole.

The process of Self Integration is never easy. We need to face our dark side. At first, we deny those parts of ourselves we find unacceptable.

Libra And Projection

After a while, denial alone (as a self-defense mechanism) cannot justify these buried expressions of the Self that begin to surface. Then we move to the next psychological defense mechanism, called projection.

Screen Shot 2019-03-20 at 1.29.59 AM

Projection is in between denial and acceptance. We are not denying it anymore, we start to become aware of the wound, yet we don’t feel ready to integrate it, thus we project it onto others.

Libra encompasses the mechanism of projection. We project onto others those attributes we don’t yet see in ourselves. We hate angry people because we are not ready yet to accept we are full of anger ourselves. We admire good communicators because we don’t realize we too have the gift of communication.

That’s why Libra is both about relationships and enemies. Relationships because we want to be with people we admire, with people who can teach us something about ourselves. And enemies, because we need them to understand those parts of ourselves, too.

Libra And Love For The Other

But at its core, Libra energy is going beyond projection. Libra is ruled by Venus. Libra is the sign of Love. The secret to fulfillment, wisdom and happiness is love for the Other.

It is only when we see the Other for who they are, as distinct individuals, that we experience love. Love is appreciating someone for who they are. Love is not about who we are. It is not about us projecting ourselves into others. It is not about our needs.

When we truly focus on the other, we forget about ourselves. We break free from the isolation and solitude, from the loneliness of the Self.

full-moon-libra-love

If in the first 6 signs of the zodiac (from Aries to Virgo) the focus is on developing the Self, starting with Libra, we realize that there is more to life. That the inner world is not enough.

Libra is breaking free from the micro universe we developed in the first 6 signs. Libra is acknowledging that there is an outer universe that is worth exploring.

Most people never break free from the micro universe. The world is all about them, about who they are as an individual. The others are, at best, just a mirror of their own expression. But in it’s pretty lonely down there. There is no greater happiness than breaking free from the micro universe, from the Ego.

The Full Moon in Libra comes with a breakthrough. We are nothing without love. We are nothing without the Other.

Chiron conjunct Sun will make us painfully aware of the loneliness of the Self, so that we can reach out to the Other and genuinely accept their perspective and view of the world.

When we refuse to take an honest look inside, we project our inner universe onto others. When we are authentically ourselves (Sun conjunct Chiron) we are able to appreciate the Other for who they are, with their uniqueness. And sometimes, simply loving the Other is all we need to heal ourselves.

Sun Enters Aries – The Equinox And The Beginning Of A New Astrological Year

On March 20th, 2019 the Sun enters Aries and we have the Northern Equinox.

Sun’s entrance in Aries – or Sun at 0° Aries – represents the beginning of a new astrological year. The Sun starts a new journey around the zodiac. No matter where you live on the Earth, the day is equal to the night.

Equinox (‘equi’-’nox’) literally means “equal night.” At the Spring Equinox, day and night are the same lengths.

The reason why the Equinoxes are so powerful is that they are the only times of the year when the day is equal to the night.

No matter where you live, you experience the exact same amount of light and darkness. The Sun and the Moon share the sky as equals.

And it is only when the day and the night are equal, it’s only when the sacred masculine (the Sun) and sacred feminine (the Moon) are in perfect balance, that life can emerge.

It’s this perfect equilibrium that allows new life to be created, that allows creation to set forth its marvels.

CraHwTiXEAAv5ji

Why The Spring Equinox Is The Beginning Of A New Astrological Year

What does the equinox mean from an astrological perspective? As you know, in a year we have 2 equinoxes and 2 solstices.

The equinoxes happen when the Sun is at 0° Aries and at 0° Libra. The solstices happen when the Sun is at 0° Cancer and at 0° Capricorn.

The 4 degrees mark the “cardinal cross” and represent the 4 points in the sky where the Sun changes direction (as seen from Earth).

seasons_ecliptic_375

All these 4 points are extremely important, but 0° Aries is the most relevant from a “new beginning” perspective because this is when the Sun rises North of the equator (and North = ascension, initiation).

No matter where you live on Earth (in the US/Northern Hemisphere or Australia or Southern Hemisphere), on March 20-21st, the Sun will rise North of the equator. By June 21st (when we have the Cancer solstice) the Sun will reach the Northeast point, and after June 21st, the Sun will start descending or start going South.

Because the Northern Equinox happens when the Sun starts its ascension, we consider the Northern/Aries equinox (March 20-March 21st) the beginning of a new Sun (yearly) cycle.

In many traditions, the time around the Spring/Northern equinox marks a new beginning. The Easter is in fact calculated based on the Equinox. The Easter takes place on the first Sunday (‘Sun’-day) after the first Full Moon after the Northern Equinox.

The Easter celebrates the resurrection of Christ (the cardinal cross) in the same way the Sun is ‘resurrected’ from the Southern descent and crosses the celestial equator going from South to North.

What To Expect From The Upcoming Northern Equinox On March 20th, 2019

In 2019, the equinox takes place on March 20th. That’s why March 20 will set the tone for the new astrological year.

If we look at what’s going on in the sky on March 20 (what transits we have) we will know what to expect in the upcoming 12 months.

This year, the equinox point is conjunct Chiron. This conjunction stands out because it is very tight. Chiron is a symbol of holistic healing. This means that 2019 will be the year of holistic healing.

chiron-meets-the-sun

The term holistic or “wholistic” implies that there is an inherent fragmentation that keeps us broken. There wouldn’t be a need to “make whole” something that is already whole.

In Shamanic tradition, illness occurs when someone’s spirit is fragmented. The Shaman is a healer with special spiritual powers who is able to travel in between worlds. In Shamanic tradition, there are three worlds: the lower world, the middle world, and the upper world.

The Shaman is able to make the spirit whole again. In astrology, the Sun is a symbol for the Spirit (the divine spark of consciousness in the center of our being).

Because the spirit is broken into pieces, the person cannot function properly. This is when illness – physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual – occurs.

The Shaman will then go on a journey (in the lower world, middle world and the upper world) to find the broken pieces of the Spirit. Once the Shaman finds all the broken parts and brings them together into a whole, healing takes place.

Chiron is a symbol for the Shaman. Chiron orbits between Saturn (the lower world) and Uranus (where the upper world begins). That’s why Chiron in astrology represents the Shaman, or the ‘mediator’ between our animal side and our divine side. Chiron is half-horse (animal), half-God after all!

A Journey To Wholeness

The Northern Equinox conjunct Chiron means that at a collective and individual level, this year we will have the opportunity to restore our wholeness.

The journey won’t be easy. We will have to go down in the lower world and face what’s in there. We will have to open ourselves to the mysteries of the upper world, and embrace the unknown. Yes, the journey will not be easy, but it will be totally worth it. There is no greater gift than restoring one’s wholeness.

No matter what needs healing in your life, in the coming year you have the chance to finally restore your balance and become whole again.

This year you can become a Shaman or you can meet one. A literal Shaman or a teacher, a priest, a healer or a medicine man or woman. Chiron is also a symbol for mentors, so you can expect to find a mentor that will stir your life in the right direction.

Sun Conjunct Mercury – A New Mercury Cycle In Pisces

On March 15th, 2019 Mercury retrograde is conjunct Sun at 24° Pisces, which means a new Mercury cycle begins.

2 Sun Neptune

A New Mercury cycle starts on March 15th, 2019 (if you live in Europe, Asia or Australia) or on March 14th, 2019 (if you live in the US) and ends on July 20th, 2019.

A Mercury cycle lasts for about 4 months, so if you plan to do something that will require 4 months to complete, the days around March 15th, 2019 are a great time to start it.

This cycle starts at 24° Pisces, with Mercury square Jupiter in Sagittarius. Mercury in Pisces is compassionate and imaginative. Jupiter in Sagittarius is optimistic and focused on growth.

You are confident and optimistic about the possibilities that are opening up for you. A positive mindset is proven to produce better outcomes and increase your chances of success.

Pisces and Sagittarius are in fact both ruled by Jupiter and represent the two facets of spirituality: the confident, generous but dogmatic belief system that guides our actions (Sagittarius) and the compassionate, everembracing and everpresent quality of the soul that knows no rules and no boundaries (Pisces).

The sabian symbol of this Mercury cycle is “A religious organization succeeds in overcoming the corrupting influence of perverted practices and materialized ideas”.

The religious organization is a metaphor for our belief system, for Jupiter. “The perverted practices and materialized ideas” are a metaphor for our mind, for Mercury.

The only fight is with yourself, is with your own consciousness.

Generation after generation, we’ve been raised to believe that we were born in sin. Jupiter in Sagittarius square Neptune, together with the Mercury cycle in Pisces will challenge that belief.

A sin is nothing else but our inability to come to terms with our own consciousness. The time has come to forgive yourself. In fact, when you embrace yourself, when you embrace the world, there is nothing to be forgiven.

Mercury Retrograde And Mercury Cycles

Whenever Mercury Retrograde makes a conjunction to the Sun, a new Mercury cycle begins. Just like the Moon has cycles, Mercury has cycles, too.

Every year we have 3 Mercury cycles.

A retrograde planet conjunct the Sun is called an interior or inferior conjunction. A direct planet conjunct the Sun is called a superior conjunction.

If inferior conjunctions are like New Moons and are time for new beginnings, superior conjunctions are like Full Moons and mark a culmination of what has been started at the time of the inferior conjunction.

A Mercury cycle lasts for approximately 116 days and begins with the inferior conjunction with the Sun.

The Mercury-Sun conjunction takes place in the middle of Mercury Retrograde. That’s why Mercury Retrograde periods can be confusing. A 4-month Mercury cycle ends, and a new 4-month Mercury cycle begins. Change is always confusing! But nevertheless necessary.

Mercury Retrograde conjunct Sun is similar to a New Moon and it’s a time to start something new.

If New Moons (Moon conjunct Sun) are great to start an activity you can complete in one month time, if Jupiter cycles (Jupiter conjunct Sun, happens only once a year) are great for initiating a goal you can complete in one year,  Mercury cycles are great for starting projects you can complete in a 4-month time.

The duration of the cycle (approx. 4 months) is ideal to focus on medium-term projects.

The Four Phases Of A Mercury Cycle

The Mercury Cycle, just like all the planetary cycles, shows Mercury’s journey around the Sun, as seen from Earth.

mercury-retrograde

There are four Mercury “phases” in a Mercury cycle, determined by Mercury’s direction from the Sun (clockwise or counterclockwise) and whether Mercury is direct or retrograde.

Phase I – Observe and Insight: Phase I starts at Mercury’s inferior conjunction to the Sun (in the middle of the retrograde) and lasts until Mercury turns direct.

In the current Mercury cycle, Phase I starts on March 15th, 2019 and ends on March 28th, 2019.

This is a shorter phase, but is absolutely important because this is when we build the foundations for the next 100 days of the cycle.

In this phase, Mercury has a strong will and a clear sense of purpose, thanks to the encounter (conjunction) with the Sun. Things start to fall into place. You can have sudden clarity about what you need to do in the coming months. You find new ways of doing things or find new solutions to your problems.

And although this phase might not yet lead to clear answers, right now you are aware of what’s going on and you can envision new possibilities.

Phase II – Prototype and Test: From Mercury direct until Mercury’s superior conjunction to the Sun.

This phase starts when Mercury is stationary direct and ends around 50 days later.

In the current Mercury cycle, Phase II starts on March 29th, 2019 and ends on May 20th, 2019.

Mercury is at its highest speed now – this is when we are capable of intense mental work. This is a good phase to kick off and work towards fulfilling the initiative you started at the time of the inferior conjunction.

This is a good time to test different elements of your plan. Try to get feedback, see what works and what doesn’t. This is when your mind has “free will” and you’re more creative and original. Test the boundaries of what’s possible.

Phase III – Build: From Mercury’s superior conjunction until Mercury turns retrograde

In the current Mercury cycle, Phase III starts on May 21st, 2019 and ends on July 7th, 2019.

Mercury gets more information from the Sun (Self) about how to best proceed forward. This is a phase of aligning the inner reality (what you’ve worked on in the first two phases) with the outer reality (what the world expects from you).

Mercury’s superior conjunction with the Sun is a phase of culmination. You no take what you started in phase I and “prototyped” and “tested” in phase II and bring it to the world. Your project finally takes shape.

You’ve done it! Now is the time to “go live” with your project.

Phase IV – Analyze From Mercury retrograde station until Mercury’s inferior conjunction to the Sun.

In the current Mercury cycle, Phase IV starts on July 8th, 2019 and ends on July 17th, 2019.

Mercury’s fourth phase is contemplative and introspective. You now want to discover the higher meaning of what you have done in the past 3 months.

The last phase is great to “analyze” what you did in the first three phases and see how the outcome can lead to an even better outcome, which you can focus on in the next cycle.

Mercury cycles last for almost 4 months. It is well known that the ideal timeline for a project is from 3 to 4 months. This is enough time to delve into a topic, do your research, test and build, and then analyze your outputs.

Anything that goes beyond 4 months loses momentum or becomes the point.2 version of the previous project.

You always want to keep your projects within this timeframe. Do you have a goal that takes more than 4 months to complete? No problem! Simply break it down into 4-month mini-projects. That’s how you can make your greatest goals come true!

How To Work With The Mercury Cycle

Take your time to focus on a project you want to undertake.

Follow these 3 steps to identify your project and plan it according to the Mercury cycle:

1) Consider your current priorities. What’s the most important thing you should focus on? Decide on a key topic. These topic should not require a long time to complete. Getting a master’s degree, building a house, personal transformation will take longer than 4 months.

Similarly, your Mercury focus topic should require enough time so you don’t complete it in a few days only – for example writing an article, finishing a presentation or taking a one-week online course.

You want to identify something in between, a project you could complete in 3 to 4 months.

2) For more guidance look in your natal chart to see in which house the Mercury cycle starts – for example, if it starts in your 2nd house you may want to start a project to generate a new source of income, if it falls in your 3rd house you may want to learn a new skill, in your 6th house you may want to start a diet and so on. Here you can find a tutorial to calculate the transit How To Read Transits In Your Natal Chart – Step By Step Instructions

3) After you have identified your project – split it into 4 different phases according to the 4 phases of the Mercury cycle. Try to stick to the timeline. You want to spend 2 weeks for the 1st and 4th phase, and around 5 weeks for the 2nd and 3rd phases.

What is your plan for the upcoming Mercury cycle?

New Moon In Pisces – Surrender

We have a New Moon in Pisces on March 6th.

The New Moon is at 15 degrees Pisces and is conjunct Neptune. Neptune is the natural ruler of Pisces, so this New Moon will come with a double dose of Pisces. If you have Pisces people in your life (or people with lots of planets in Pisces) you know how Pisces energy feels like. Compassionate. Dreamy. Confusing. Extraordinary. This is how this lunar month will be like.

The New Moon in Pisces also coincides with Uranus’ entrance into Taurus and with Mercury Retrograde, so you’re in for quite a ride.

New Moon In Pisces

Every year we have one New Moon in each sign of the zodiac. That’s why we have 12 months in a year, so that each sign gets a chance to tell its story. In March, you have the opportunity to learn about Pisces.

The Pisces energy is like the ocean: deep, vast, mysterious. The ocean is where everything begins and where everything ends, it is the alpha and omega of life as we know it.

The Pisces constellation is depicted by two fish swimming in opposite directions, yet linked by a cord that keeps them together. This represents the phase of in-betweenness of our consciousness, is when we ask ourselves: should I stay or should I go?

Chiron pisces

But the ocean is vast and the possibilities are endless. Pisces is also a symbol of the unconscious mind and contains all the ‘raw’ information of the universe. Pisces is the divine cosmic soup, and in human development, it corresponds to the gestation phase. In this cosmic cocktail, everything is possible.

As you know, your unconscious thoughts and feelings determine your actions, and the more you get access to your unconscious mind, the more you get in touch with the Universe, and you act in sync with your divine path.

New Moon Conjunct Neptune

Neptune rules Pisces, so this New Moon is as Pisces as you can get. Neptune is the planet of all possibilities. Neptune is the source code of the Universe. If Uranus (the planet before Neptune) is the initial divine insight, Neptune takes this insight and creates something new out of it.

Many scientists, mathematicians, computer programmers, and artists have a strong Neptune in their chart. What they have in common is their ability to take a piece of abstract information and expand on it. A mathematician takes a simple formula out of which he creates a complex equation. The programmer takes a piece of code and makes a software. The musician takes the musical notes and writes a song. Neptune is your opportunity to ‘play God’ as long as you find that “piece of code” that is aligned with the laws of the Universe.

Long story short, this means anything is possible now. You can create any reality you want. We only suffer when we ignore the universal law. If you ignore it, you cannot make music. If you tap into it, you make a symphony.

New Moon In Pisces And Uranus In Taurus

You already know that every New Moon comes with a new beginning, but this particular New Moon even more so, because it is linked to Uranus’ move into Taurus. Uranus changes signs only once every 7 years, so it will come with changes that can influence your life at least for the next 7 years to come.

Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. Mercury is the mind. Uranus is the higher mind or God’s mind, the mind of the creator. Uranus is how the sky talks to us.

Uranus rules radio and the internet. To get radio waves, you need to tune into a different frequency. It’s like talking with an alien. The words you use to communicate with a human being won’t be of much help. To communicate with an alien, you need to tap into a different frequency.

Uranus is the first ‘invisible’ planet, which means you can’t see it with the naked eye in the sky (you will need a telescope). Thus, Uranus presents what’s beyond what we know to be true. Uranus transits will completely change your perception about reality and will help you see things from a completely different perspective.

If you’re ready to ‘dial in’, this insight will set you free.

New Moon In Pisces And Mercury Retrograde

The New Moon in Pisces also coincides with Mercury going retrograde at 29° Pisces, the last degree of the zodiac. Mercury is literally only one degree away from Chiron, and has been there for several days now, which is an unusually long time for Mercury.

If you have a Gemini or Virgo Ascendant OR if you have planets between 27° Pisces and 2° Aries then you probably felt the energy of Mercury conjunct Chiron very strongly. Some painful thoughts that you may not be ready yet to integrate.

Maybe there is something in your life you are not ready to confront yet. You may feel you don’t have all the information to make a decision. That’s why Mercury goes retrograde – to get more information, to assess things from a different perspective.

When Mercury goes direct again on March 28, he will be conjunct Neptune and square Jupiter. A deeper truth will be revealed. You will have an a-ha moment. The puzzle will come together.

Finally, when Mercury (direct) will cross again 29° Pisces (on April 15) you will have the final resolution of this New Moon. Whatever you start now or in the days following the New Moon will develop much more around mid-April. There is more to come. Something you are not aware of yet, something your mind cannot grasp yet, will be revealed mid-April.

As you can see (or probably already experience on your own skin) there are a lot of shifts in the sky right now, there is a lot going on. The solution?

Look for answers outside yourself. This is not a time to ‘listen to our intuition’. This is a time to really listen to the higher guidance. If the messages that come to you shock you, you are probably on the right path.

Many times we believe we receive guidance from above when in fact we only act from intuition and wishful thinking. That’s not what a Pisces would do. You have to completely surrender. You have to completely embrace the possibility that you may not have all the answers.

Astrology of March 2019 – Uranus Enters Taurus

March 2019 comes with one of the most anticipated events of the year: Uranus leaves Aries and moves into Taurus.

Uranus was briefly in Taurus in 2018, and then retrograded back into Aries. But now he’s back in Taurus for good. Or at least for the next 7 years. When a slow-moving planet like Uranus changes signs, you know you’re up for a change.

Something in your life will change, because when Uranus comes, he always brings change.

Uranus is the planet of freedom, enlightenment, and liberation. When your sense of freedom is awakened, change usually follows. That’s why midlife crisis, for example, has been associated with the planet Uranus. Uranus always makes an opposition to natal Uranus when someone is 40-42 years old.

The midlife crisis basically means that your sense of freedom is awakened. You no longer what to live by society’s rules (Saturn). You want to live by your own rules and unleash your full creative potential.

Uranus in Taurus will move into a different sector of your life and will awaken your latent potential in that particular area of your life.

March is a very eventful month, and apart from Uranus moving into Taurus we also have other important events. On March 20th, 2019 we have the Equinox and the beginning of a new astrological year, Mercury goes retrograde on Mach 5th, 2019 and spends almost the whole month in a conjunction to Neptune in Pisces, and Sun is conjunct Chiron, asking you to come to terms with your primal wound.

But let’s have a look at the most important astrological events of the month:

starry-sky-2533009__340

March 1st, 2019 – Venus Enters Aquarius

On March 1st, 2019 Venus enters Aquarius. After she spent three weeks in the serious sign of Capricorn, making conjunctions with the toughest planets of the zodiac (Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node), Venus takes a deep breath of fresh air and moves into Aquarius.

In Aquarius, Venus rises above personal concerns and takes a more objective, realistic approach to life. Venus in Capricorn was a heavy transit. Venus in Aquarius will lift the burden of resentment from your heart.

March 5th, 2019 – Mercury Goes Retrograde

On March 5th, 2019 Mercury goes retrograde at 29 degrees Pisces, the last degrees of the zodiac. Just when Mercury was about to start a new journey (at 0° Aries), he has decided instead to stop and go back.

There is still some work that needs to be done. There are still adjustments that need to be made.

Maybe there is a chapter of your life you thought had closed, but Mercury retrograde will reopen it, for you take a closer look at it. You may not like this. But Mercury retrograde will help you see things from a different perspective.

Mercury will spend most of March in a conjunction to Neptune. Mercury and Neptune will deconstruct your present reality, to show you a different perspective.

You can have an epiphany, and finally, understand why something happened the way it happened. When you find this missing piece of the puzzle, everything will fall into place.

To benefit from Mercury’s immersion into Pisces, keep your mind open. Be aware of any misconceptions or prejudices you may have.

March 6th, 2019 – Uranus Enters Taurus

On March 6th, 2019 Uranus enters Taurus. Uranus changing signs always comes with big shifts. To find out how exactly Uranus in Taurus will influence you, look up in your natal chart and see in which house is affected by this transit.

If you’re an Aries Ascendant, Uranus moves into your 2nd house, if you’re a Taurus ascendant, Uranus moves in your first house, if you’re a Gemini ascendant, Uranus moves into your 12th house, if you’re a Cancer ascendant, Uranus moves into your 11th house, if you’re a Leo ascendant, Uranus moves into your 10th house, if you’re a Virgo ascendant, Uranus moves into your 9th house, if you’re a Libra ascendant, Uranus moves into your 8th house, if you’re a Scorpio ascendant, Uranus moves into your 7th house, if you’re a Sagittarius ascendant, Uranus moves into your 6th house, if you’re a Capricorn ascendant, Uranus moves into your 5th house, if you’re an Aquarius ascendant, Uranus moves into your 4th house, if you’re a Pisces ascendant, Uranus moves into your 3rd house.

Get familiarized with the basic meaning of the house to see where you can expect the wind of change in your life.

March 6th, 2019 – New Moon In Pisces

On March 6th, 2019 we have a New Moon at 15° Pisces. Every New Moon comes with a new beginning, but this particular New Moon even more so, because it is linked to Uranus’ move into Taurus. This particular new beginning will not bring any type of change… it will bring a fundamental change in your life.

The New Moon is conjunct Neptune, opening completely new possibilities for you. The New Moon in Pisces is also sextile Mars and Saturn.

Even if a New Moon conjunct Neptune is not the most energizing transit, thanks to the positive influence of Mars and Saturn, you will take focused action this time. Neptune is the uncharted territory of your soul. Are you ready to dive in?

March 15th, 2019 – Mercury Conjunct Sun

On March 15th, 2019 Mercury retrograde is conjunct the Sun at 24 degrees Pisces, which means a new Mercury cycle begins.

A Mercury cycle lasts for about 4 months, so if you plan to do something that will require 4 months to complete, this is a good time to initiate it.

Sun and Mercury are square Jupiter in Sagittarius. This time, you are confident and optimistic about the outcome. A positive mindset is proven to produce better outcomes and increase your chances of success.

March 20th, 2019 – Sun Enters Aries

On March 20th, 2019 Sun enters Aries. This is the beginning of a new astrological year, because the Sun starts a new journey around the zodiac. No matter where on the Earth you live, the day is equal to the night. March 20 will set the tone for the new astrological year.

This year, the equinox point is conjunct Chiron. This conjunction really stands out because it is very tight. Chiron is a symbol of holistic healing. This means that 2019 will be the year of holistic healing.

No matter what needs healing in your life, in the coming year you have the chance to finally restore your balance and become whole again. Chiron is also a symbol for teachers, so you can expect to find a teacher that will stir your life in the right direction.

March 21st, 2019 – Full Moon In Libra

On March 21th, 2019 we have a Full Moon in Libra. March transits are dynamite! If the New Moon brought us Uranus in Taurus, the Full Moon in Libra is connected to the beginning of the astrological year.

You may know by now that a Full Moon alone is powerful enough – it basically represents the energetic peak of the month.

But this Full Moon is at 0° Libra, one of the four cardinal degrees, one of the most potent degrees of the zodiac. If you start something when the Sun or the Moon is at one of these four cardinal degrees, then anything is possible.

Cardinal signs = action. 0° is the degree of all possibilities.

The Full Moon is opposite Chiron, now at 1° Aries. If you want healthy relationships (Libra), you need to heal yourself first (Sun conjunct Chiron). Instead of trying to find the right partner, work on becoming the right person. Find out who you really are and heal your sense of identity.

March 22nd, 2019 – Sun Conjunct Chiron

On March 22, 2019,  Sun is conjunct Chiron at 1° Aries. From all Chiron transits, Chiron conjunct the Sun is perhaps the most significant one. Chiron has a special relationship with the Sun.

In the Greek myth, Chiron was adopted by Apollo (the Greek name for the Sun) who taught him everything he knew. Chiron was initially rejected by his parents, but it was the Sun who saved him.

The Sun represents the Self, our divine mission. Chiron represents our primal wound, the wound of being born, the wound of existence.
